Caterva ("we," "our," or "us") is a catering management platform designed to help catering businesses manage orders, employees, branches, and event operations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Caterva mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

a) Account Information

When your employer (the catering company) creates an account for you, we collect:

• Full name, username, and email address
• Phone number
• Role designation (Admin or Employee)
• Branch assignment

b) Order & Business Data

To provide our catering management services, we process:

• Customer names, phone numbers, and event locations
• Event dates, times, and order details
• Product and menu information
• Order status and financial amounts

c) Device Information

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications
• Device type and operating system version

2. How We Use Your Information

• Service Delivery: Managing orders, branches, employees, and catering operations
• Notifications: Sending event reminders (4 days, 2 days, 24 hours, and event day) via push notifications
• Reports: Generating business analytics and export reports for company administrators
• Authentication: Verifying your identity and maintaining secure access to your account

3. Data Sharing

We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Within your company: Admins can view employee data and orders within their organization
• Firebase (Google): For push notification delivery only
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• Token-based authentication for all API requests
• Company-scoped data isolation (multi-tenancy) ensures companies cannot access each other's data
• Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS
• Secure password hashing

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When an account is deleted:

• Personal information is removed within 30 days
• Order records may be retained in anonymized form for business reporting
• FCM tokens are immediately invalidated

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account (see our Account Deletion page)
• Withdraw consent for push notifications via device settings

7. Push Notifications

We send push notifications for event reminders related to your catering orders. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications will not affect other app functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

Caterva is a business management tool and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
